I spent almost 10 years at the internationally acclaimed agency Farfar (Ranked top 3 most awarded agency in the world by the Gunn Report for five consecutive years). At Farfar we worked with numerous international clients such as Absolut Vodka, Adidas, Diesel, and Heineken.

I worked on almost every Farfar client in one way ot another, but my main responsibility was to co-lead the creative work for our biggest, most profitable and most awarded client Nokia.

Many of the projects are a little too old to show now, but I'll make an exception for one of the perhaps lesser known cases, but one we had a lot of fun with.

Nokia – The Unloader

Send boring documents on an exciting journey

 

In the early days of smartphones, Nokia was a trailblazer in developing phones that could handle tasks like sending and receiving emails, connecting to printers, and viewing and editing presentations and spreadsheets. To showcase the capabilities of their E-Series phones for professionals, we created a web service called The Unloader. It allowed users to have fun destroying unwanted emails in creative ways, such as sending them through a fiery ring or shredding them to confetti with a happy fanfare. All users had to do was forward the email or document to The Unloader, and they would receive a video of the destruction in their inbox. Connected to a Nokia phone, The Unloader was a perfect blend of utility and entertainment.
